Ali Vanderkruyk is a filmmaker, editor and educator from Canada currently based in Los Angeles. Working across film, video and installation, her work engages with shifting notions of the self and other in documentary ethics as it relates to ecology, carceral spaces, the archive and the body. She also makes music videos.
